CREATIVITY WITH PURPOSE

Firebird Design Lab's mission is to challenge individuals and organizations to create maximum impact via minimal means.

FDL's innovative approach is aimed at engaging one's heart, mind, and hands toward a transformative outcome.  FDL has developed a rigorous low-resource/high creativity process to model holistic problem solving skills and instill self-agency.

FDL‘s unique approach is based on founder Leon Wang’s work in the creative, technical, and educational fields.  Leon has multi-disciplinary design and project management experience -- including architecture, toy design, and activism art.  He has been active in design education at K-12 and university levels, as well as other creativity-based initiatives.

As a tireless advocate for purposeful creativity, Leon conducts intensive on-site studio programs in educational, professional, and activist communities.  He also uses the same process to assist the social justice movement in creating impactful narratives.
